Results from the 2008 Law School Survey of Student Engagement reveal that many students don’t feel like they get enough real-life legal writing practice in their law school curriculum.

Nearly half of responding participants said they did not have enough practice developing their legal writing skills and more than a third reported to need additional opportunities for practice-based writing assignments.
