University of Wyoming College of Law
University of Wyoming College of Law
University of Wyoming is the only ABA-accredited law school in the state, and the smallest law school in the region, with an enrollment of approximately 225 students. Situated in the Rocky Mountains of Laramie, the school allows students to study law with an array of recreational activities at their disposal. It is known for an intimate family-like atmosphere, innovative skills training, affordability, and overall student satisfaction.
Experiential learning is a big part of the school’s mission, and students have the opportunity to participate in at least one clinic before graduating. It offers eight clinics and practicums in addition to an externship program. A quarter of the courses at the law school are devoted to energy or natural resources.
Tuition and cost of living are among the lowest in the nation, helping keep debt below $82,000. Its employment placement rate typically is higher than its incoming LSAT and GPA would suggest.
