The Advocacy LL.M. Program, administered by the Stephen S. Weinstein Trial Advocacy Program, allows law graduates at any stage in their career to advance their legal advocacy skills. LL.M. students will enhance their technical trial skills, learn new litigation strategies and tools, master courtroom technology, and focus on the application of professional ethics in the pretrial and trial settings. Our program combines classroom instruction on substantive federal criminal law, skills training, and live client representation in a federal defenders office. Trial Advocacy

A performance-based curriculum combines theory and practice. This one-year, 24- credit degree program designed for the practicing attorney primarily follows a class schedule of evenings and weekends. The course begins in mid-June with a daytime summer session in two parts. Designated distance learners telecommute evening lectures in the fall and spring semester. All students attend performance weekends on our Philadelphia campus. The only program of its kind, it is an ideal fit for those who aspire to improve and perfect their litigation tactics and courtroom performance.
