Family Law

The Family Law LL.M. Program focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to resolving family issues, an approach consistent with contemporary family law practice. The program meets the needs of all students, whether they seek to concentrate on matrimonial issues, child protection issues, juvenile justice issues, or any other family law subspecialty. The Family Law LL.M. Program requires completion of 24 credits, which may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.

Child and Family Law

The LL.M. in child and family offers an opporunity to gain a specialized understanding of the law in order to serve the unique needs of children and their families. This advanced degree program emphasizes the interdisciplinary knowledge and practice-oriented skills needed to advocate effectively and promote justice for children. Areas of study include child law trial practice and legislation, international rights for children, adoption law, and domestic violence.
