BU Law’s renowned Graduate Tax Program now offers three distinct program options, leading to the LL.M. in Taxation: full-time residential, part-time residential and online. Residential students must earn 24 credits by completing five required courses and seven electives in one academic year (full-time) or over the course of eight consecutive semesters (part-time). Online students complete the same credit requirement in as few as four consecutive semesters, or over the course of four years.

- Completed application; $75.00 application fee; two letters of recommendation, including one from a law professor; personal statement of interest; CV or resume; J.D. transcripts required for applicants with U.S. law degrees; foreign candidates must have first degree in law, or its equivalent; a certified English translation must accompany foreign transcripts; and a minimum TOEFL: 600/250/100; minimum IELTS: 7.0; minimum ILEC (International Certificate of Legal English): B2
