Western State exceeds California bar average for third year

It was  a GOOD week for ...

Western State College of Law, a for-profit law school at Argosy University, after it announced an 83 percent bar passage rate for the February exam, which surpassed the California average for the third year in a row. Only 68.6 percent of first-time California bar exam takers passed the bar exam held in February.

“We are thrilled that, for seven of the past eight California Bar exams, our graduates have outperformed the state average for first-time test takers from ABA-approved law schools,” said Dean Allen Easley. “Our graduates have demonstrated the value of their legal education at Western State and their commitment to the future of the profession.”

Western State College of Law was established in 1966 and is the oldest law school in Orange County.
