The Indiana University Maurer School of Law launched a new Center on the Global Legal Profession, which will be based at IU-Bloomington. The center will focus on the challenges lawyers face around the world, in addition to creating research and training materials to help attorneys and students understand international legal systems.
Professor William Henderson, a nationally recognized scholar in the study of the legal profession, directs the center. Researchers for the center will examine data compiled by the Law Firms Working Group, in addition to other sources, in order to identify trends across the global legal system. This data will be used to reshape the legal profession curriculum at IU, and to provide current information to practicing attorneys.
