Basketball player to attend Seton Hall law, play on team

It was a Good week for creatively paying for a legal education, after Braeden Anderson announced he would attend Seton Hall University School of Law on a basketball scholarship. Anderson has played for Fresno State and will graduate this spring after only three years. He has two years of eligibility remaining and the NCAA graduate transfer waiver will allow him to play right away.

Anderson understands the challenge he will face, tackling law school and basketball at the same time. The 6’ 9” forward played in 17 games this year. He scored 17 points and had 30 rebounds.

Anderson told MyCentralJersey.com that he began thinking about his future during a 28-day-hospital stay after breaking his neck in a car accident his second year at Fresno State. He decided he should prepare for life after basketball and set plans to attend law school.
