The John Marshall Law School will offer a new online LL.M. in Estate Planning in Fall 2012. It will be the 17th online LL.M. at an ABA-accredited law school and the second at the Chicago law school. The school currently offers an online program in Employee Benefits.

This is only the third LL.M. in estate planning, with traditional programs at University of Baltimore and University of Miami.

The program will offer a comprehensive curriculum designed to help students master the theoretical and practical aspects of estate planning. It will be structured to produce practice-ready graduates.

The faculty will include both law school professors and academics and practitioners, and students must complete 24 credit hours to earn the degree.
There will not be any set class meetings, allowing students to create their own academic schedules.
It is anticipated that the flexibility provided by online delivery will result in a diverse student
