Cornell is located in Ithaca, N.Y., and is another legal education powerhouse in the Northeast region.
It had the best employment rate in the Northeast reporting that 94.4 percent of its graduates were employed to the legal profession. It also excelled on the bar exam — 93.65 percent of test-takers passed the New York bar on the first try compared to the state average of 78.59 percent.
Cornell has one of the best facilities according to preLaw and also fared well in the recent ranking of Most Diverse law schools, receiving an A.
So yes, it can boast of some pretty hardy accomplishments. However, you pay for what you get. The school is one of the most expensive in the region, with yearly tuition of $65,541 for 2018-2019. It is also difficult to get into, as it competes with other top school across the country for students.
