An exclusive study of 16,799 partners at the nation’s largest law firms shows that almost 50 percent come from 20 schools and 75 percent from 50 schools. But 148 law schools have at least one partner. This list shows where big firm partners went to law school at and how many. The study was conducted by Professor Ted Seto at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and is published in the Journal of Legal Education. It’s no surprise that law schools like Harvard, Georgetown and NYU top out the list, their prestiges are well known. Some of the additional college law schools rankings may surprise you.
